Project & Team
This page explains the idea behind the ATU QuickView prototype and introduces the team member.
Project Overview
A single starting point for ATU students to access Moodle, timetables, email, the Library and the Student Hub.
Problem
First-year students often feel lost because they have to jump between several systems: Moodle for modules, a separate timetable site, Outlook for email, the Library website, and the Student Hub portal. Each system has a different layout and URL, so it is easy to waste time searching or miss important information.
Solution
ATU QuickView is a small but focused prototype that brings links and explanations for all key systems into one clean landing page. Students can quickly open each service in a new tab or preview some of them in a mini embedded view. The goal is not to replace the official systems, but to show how a more integrated digital starting point could work.
Goals of the Prototype
- Reduce the time it takes to find the correct ATU system.
- Help new students understand what each system is used for.
- Show how information from different platforms can be brought together.
- Provide a clear structure for future development of a real portal.
